Key Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
Administer respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management
Perform diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active Respiratory Therapist license or eligibility to practice in the state of Iowa
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Current BLS certification required
Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting
Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care respiratory support
Strong communication and patient assessment skills
