Employee Type Non-Exempt - FT Job Title: Research Assistant I FSLA Classification: Non - Exempt Reports to: Site Operations Manager Job Summary/ Objective: The Research Assistant I will play a crucial role in supporting ongoing clinical trials, data collection, and analysis. Your work will contribute directly to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. Essential Functions: Data Collection and Entry : Assist in collecting patient data during clinical trials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols. Participant Recruitment and Consent : Help recruit eligible participants for clinical studies. Laboratory Support : Prepare and process biological samples (blood, urine, tissue) for analysis. Assist with laboratory experiments and assays. Administrative Tasks : Schedule study visits and coordinate participant appointments. Assist with regulatory submissions Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with principal investigators, physicians, and other team members. Communicate study updates and findings effectively. Education/Experience/Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (biology, life sciences, health sciences, etc.). Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
