KYC Analyst - Startup (REMOTE)

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Base Salary: $60K

Our platform enables financial institutions to seamlessly integrate investing services—including stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and cryptocurrency—into their existing banking applications. Our subsidiary specializes in high-net-worth crypto trading, providing a concierge trade desk service that prioritizes compliance and security.

Position Summary

As a KYC Analyst, you will be integral to our compliance framework, responsible for verifying customer identities, assessing risks, and ensuring regulatory adherence. You will review documentation, monitor transactions, and prevent financial crimes like money laundering and fraud. This role requires a detailed-oriented, proactive professional passionate about maintaining financial integrity in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify identities and business registrations via document analysis.
  • Conduct customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
  • Monitor and analyze transaction patterns for risk assessment.
  • Identify and flag suspicious or fraudulent activities.
  • Ensure compliance with BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Trading teams for efficient KYC processes.
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on findings.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and apply them accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in BSA/AML and KYC/KYB compliance.
  • Familiarity with OFAC screening, adverse media, and sanctions compliance.
  • Experience in transaction monitoring and fraud detection.
  • Knowledge of OSINT research methods.
  • Excellent communication and independent remote work abilities.
  • Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, ClickUp.
